Barrier containers

Seda Barrier Containers can be used in a wide range of different categories.

From Bakery, Confectionary and Ready Meals to Frozen and Savoury, providing excellent product protection and extended shelf life thanks to Seda’s Proprietary Bottom Technology, which delivers a superior hermetic seal and cup tightness.

Round or flat rimroll lids are available for a perfect membrane seal and lid fit. All our barrier containers are resealable with a paperboard lid – available as a one- or two-piece lid in various shapes and sizes.

Materials

  • Wide range of barrier coatings extruded on paperboard to suit different shelf-life requirements (LDPE, EVOH, PP, PET, ALU etc.) 

  • Material specifications and combinations are engineered by the Seda Materials & Products R&D Department to achieve high barrier performance and “end of life” recyclability 

  • Green PE and compostable biopolymer options available for superior environmental credentials

  • Paper is 100% PEFC Certified. FSC certification available upon request
